1. Purpose

These Terms of Service define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between pour.ink (the "Service") and the users who use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Definition

pour.ink is an AI-powered blog platform providing the following features:

  • AI writing assistant (powered by Google Gemini)
  • AI image generation (powered by Google Imagen)
  • MDX-based blog editor
  • Subdomain blog hosting (username.pour.ink)
  • BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) AI integration

3. Account Registration

The Service uses Magic Link email authentication. Users register and sign in by entering their email address. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their email accounts.

4. Service Usage

The Service offers Free, Pro, and Premium tiers. Currently, only the Free tier is available. Paid tiers will be introduced in the future with advance notice.

5. BYOK and API Keys

Users may register their own Google AI API keys to use AI features. Regarding API keys:

  • Users are fully responsible for managing and securing their API keys.
  • API keys are stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption.
  • All costs incurred through the Google AI API are the user's responsibility.
  • The Service does not monitor or limit API key usage.

6. AI-Generated Content

Content generated through AI features is owned by the user. However, the Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of AI-generated content. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before publishing.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Publishing illegal, defamatory, or harmful content
  • Automated abuse or excessive use of the Service
  • Interfering with the operation of the Service
  • Impersonating other users or entities
  • Using the Service for spam or unsolicited marketing

8. Service Changes and Interruption

The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued with reasonable prior notice. In cases of emergency maintenance or force majeure, the Service may be temporarily interrupted without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. The Service is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, user negligence, AI-generated content results, or third-party service (Google AI, Supabase, etc.) interruptions.

10. Termination

Users may terminate their accounts at any time. The Service may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, user data will be deleted according to the Privacy Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be resolved through email correspondence first. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
